I maintain a presence on multiple social media platforms, producing both video and photo content, as well as commentary. I review products that I have purchased, and also work with companies who provide products for review. I host my own live stream each week, and also appear as a guest panelist on others. I also attend industry events to learn about new products, and to network with industry contacts.

Purpose
Gizzard Gary Productions is an online social media organization, founded in 2017 and organized in 2023. Gizzard Gary is a Kansas-based firearm and 2A podcaster and social media creator. My content consists of guns, gear, and knife reviews, Second Amendment advocacy, industry event coverage, and live panel discussion – from the perspective of an older guy who began his modern firearm journey in 2015, at age 55.
Mission
Gizzard Gary Productions utilizes social media to promote the safe ownership, possession, and usage of firearms for both self-protection and recreation by law-abiding American citizens, as is provided for by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution, and as endowed by our Creator. We also seek to expand and share knowledge of firearms-related topics, and awareness of proposed and existing laws and regulations regarding firearms use. We encourage awareness and participation in the political process, in an effort to promote what we believe. Finally, we intend to build and foster a community of firearms owners, so that information can be shared for the benefit of all.
Personal
My name is Gary Decker. I am a lifelong Kansas resident, retired nuclear plant IT support, living in an apartment in the same small town where I was born and raised. My father enjoyed hunting and fishing, and I received my first shotgun when I was a young teenager, so I have always been around firearms. I never owned a handgun until age 55, so most of what I know about the current firearms environment is recent history. I enjoy learning, and sharing what I have learned with others. Coming from a modest background, I understand having to stay within a budget, but am also aware that there are many levels of quality and reliability at various price points. I have to drive several minutes to the nearest range, so my shooting content is somewhat limited. I try to keep an open mind, and enjoy experiencing new things. I hope you will join me in my journey!
